Kathy Hannun is the founder and CTO of Dandelion Energy, the leading residential geothermal company in the United States. She launched the company inside Alphabet’s moonshot factory, X, before spinning it out in 2017 to bring geothermal heating and cooling into the mainstream. Today, Dandelion partners with many of the nation's largest homebuilders to integrate geothermal systems into new construction nationwide.

A TED Fellow and CNBC Changemaker, Kathy has been recognized on Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business list and MIT Technology Review’s 35 Innovators Under 35. She holds a BS in civil engineering and an MS in computer science from Stanford University.
